Wool

Wool is composed of the natural protein keratin.

Why wool
100% biodegradable?

Wool especially Australian wool is produced in extensive pasture systems, where the diet is dominated by grasses and other pasture plants. These plants capture carbon from the atmosphere and convert it into organic compounds through photosynthesis (which supports much of the life on earth).

How does wool biodegrade?

Wool is composed of the natural protein keratin, which is similar to the protein that makes up human hair. When keratin is broken down naturally by microorganisms, the products do not pose any environmental hazard.
